Progress You Can See: The GAD-7 Shift
While I love the soulful side of this work, I also value practical tools for tracking progress, which is why I use the GAD-7 questionnaire.
It’s a wonderful way for us to see the real-world shifts in your anxiety levels as we work together to calm your nervous system and build a toolkit you can rely on for life.
GAD-7 is a simple questionnaire designed for screening and measuring the severity of Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD). It’s widely used in both therapy and research settings because it gives a quick, accurate picture of someone’s current level of anxiety. The total score ranges from 0 to 21, with higher numbers reflecting more intense anxiety. A score of 0-4 is classed as not having GAD (General Anxiety Disorder). Of course, that doesn’t mean that someone will never feel anxious. Occasional or situational anxiety is part of life and we all feel it from time to time. But when someone’s score drops to this level, those feelings are usually short-lived and easier to handle. With an increased window of tolerance, the nervous system doesn’t tip into overwhelm as easily, and things that once felt unmanageable start to feel more doable.
Even though it's visually obvious to me as I watch the transformations occur, it still lifts my heart to see the actual results in data form - as you can see from some of the recent progress below.
These scores are what happens when we work together to turn down the volume on anxiety; just like when you turn the volume of any loud noise down, it reveals the peace that was there all along.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to see results with an online anxiety course?
While everyone’s "root system" is different, most people notice a shift in their physical tension after the very first session. Because we use the GAD-7 measure to track your progress, you’ll be able to see your scores dropping as you move through the program. My goal is to give you "tools for life" so you can maintain that calm long after the course finishes.
Do I need a diagnosis of cortisol and anxiety disorder to join?
Not at all. Whether you have a formal diagnosis or you’re simply feeling "on edge" and overwhelmed, these techniques work with your nervous system to lower stress hormones naturally. We focus on how you feel in your body rather than just a label.
How does an EFT tapping therapist work over Zoom?
It’s actually very simple and effective. During our online anxiety therapy sessions, I guide you through the tapping points and visualisation exercises in real-time. Many clients find they feel more relaxed working from the comfort of their own home, which helps the nervous system settle more quickly.
What makes this different from traditional "talk therapy"?
Traditional therapy often stays in the "thinking" brain, but anxiety lives in the body. By combining gentle conversation with EFT tapping and breath, we go straight to the physical stress response to release it.
